Born in Mangalore, India, Chef and Owner Jay Kumar discovered his passion for cooking at a young age. Driven by this growing interest, he moved to Switzerland, where he established and expanded his restaurant business, earning a name for himself in the local community.
After 20 years of building a strong reputation in Switzerland, Chef Kumar followed his heart to Brooklyn New York, settling in Park Slope, where he founded LORE.
LORE tells the stories of intersecting cultures, experiences, and flavors, all rooted in the essence of community.
